0.6/1 kV two-core XLPE insulated rigid belt armoured PVC/PE sheathed power cable (YJV22 YJLV22 YJY23 YJLY23)

This series of power cables, rated for 0.6/1 kV, is an ideal solution for a variety of power transmission and distribution applications, especially in environments where enhanced mechanical protection and environmental resistance are required. The core of these cables is XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation, which allows for a higher long-term operating temperature of up to 90℃. This significantly increases the current-carrying capacity and overload resistance compared to traditional PVC-insulated cables. The cables are available in two-core configurations, making them suitable for single-phase power systems. They can be manufactured with either a copper conductor (YJ series) or an aluminum conductor (YJL series), providing a choice between superior conductivity and lower cost/weight to meet specific project requirements.
The double steel tape armour (represented by "22" and "23") provides exceptional resistance to external crushing, impact, and tensile stress. The outermost layer is a protective sheath, with two material options available: a PVC sheath (V) and a PE sheath (Y). The PVC sheath offers good flame retardancy, making it suitable for indoor installations and areas with fire safety requirements. In contrast, the PE sheath provides superior weather resistance, water resistance, and resistance to chemical corrosion, which is ideal for outdoor, wet, or corrosive environments.
